  • the SwiftBoard website at swiftboard.app and its related pages;
  • the SwiftBoard web application;
  • the SwiftBoard browser extension;
  • the SwiftBoard mobile applications;
  • the SwiftBoard keyboard;
  • Boards, Snippets, Link Pages, templates, analytics, collaboration, and sharing features; and
  • any other services that link to this Privacy Policy.

Together, these are referred to as the “Services.” By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways:

  • information you provide directly;
  • information created when you use SwiftBoard; and
  • limited technical information collected automatically.

1.1 Account Information

When you create or manage a SwiftBoard account, we may collect:

  • profile image;

  • workspace or team name;
  • account role and permissions; and
  • information received from a supported sign-in provider, such as Google or Apple, when you choose that login method.

1.2 Content You Add to SwiftBoard

SwiftBoard lets you save, organize, access, and share content. Depending on how you use the Services, we may process:

  • Boards and folders;
  • notes and text;
  • Snippets and reusable messages;
  • links and bookmarks;
  • images, videos, documents, audio, and other files;
  • Link Page content;
  • form names, labels, and settings;
  • comments and activity;
  • template content;
  • tags and categories;
  • shared resources;
  • content descriptions and metadata; and
  • other information you choose to upload, save, create, or share.

1.3 Collaboration and Team Information

When you use team or collaboration features, we may collect:

  • workspace membership;
  • invitations;
  • member roles and permissions;
  • shared Board activity;
  • comments and collaboration history;
  • timestamps for edits and actions;
  • content access history; and
  • administrative settings.

1.4 Link Pages and Visitor Information

When you create or visit a Link Page, we may collect information such as:

  • page views;
  • link clicks;
  • approximate location based on IP address;
  • browser and device type;
  • referral source;
  • date and time of the visit;
  • campaign parameters;
  • form responses submitted through the page; and
  • other engagement information.

1.5 Browser Extension Information

The SwiftBoard browser extension is designed to help you access, save, and reuse your SwiftBoard content while browsing. Depending on the features you use and the permissions displayed by your browser, the extension may process:

  • the URL and title of the active page;
  • text, links, or images you actively choose to save;
  • content you select or highlight;
  • information required to insert a Snippet or saved resource;
  • your SwiftBoard login session;
  • extension settings;
  • limited technical and diagnostic information; and
  • actions you intentionally perform through the extension.

1.6 Keyboard Information

The SwiftBoard keyboard may allow you to search, access, and insert saved content into other applications. Depending on the operating system, permissions, and features you enable, the keyboard may process:

  • searches you submit within the SwiftBoard keyboard;
  • content you choose from SwiftBoard;
  • commands required to insert selected content;
  • keyboard settings;
  • device and app compatibility information; and
  • limited diagnostic information.

1.7 Communications and Support

When you contact us, we may collect:

  • the content of your message;
  • screenshots and attachments;
  • account and device information relevant to your request;
  • support history; and
  • any other information you choose to provide.

If you purchase a paid plan, our payment provider may collect:

  • submit content to a shared area; or
  • choose a public or link-accessible setting.

4.3 Publicly Shared Content

Information included in a public Link Page, publicly shared Board, public profile, or other publicly accessible resource may be viewed, copied, indexed, or reshared by others. You should not place confidential or sensitive information in publicly accessible content.

4.4 Business Transfers

If SwiftBoard is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. Where required, we will provide notice before personal information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

4.5 Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law or legal process;
  • respond to a lawful government request;

5. Third-Party Integrations and Links

SwiftBoard may allow you to connect, embed, import from, export to, or interact with third-party services. When you use a third-party integration:

  • information may be shared between SwiftBoard and that service;
  • the third party's privacy policy will govern its independent processing;
  • removing the integration may not delete information previously transferred; and
  • you are responsible for ensuring you have permission to transfer any third-party information.

6. User Content and Information About Others

You retain responsibility for the User Content you upload, store, share, publish, or otherwise process through SwiftBoard. When your User Content contains personal information about another person, you represent that you have the legal right to provide and process that information through the Services. You are responsible for:

  • configuring sharing permissions appropriately; and

7. Artificial Intelligence Features

SwiftBoard may offer optional features that use artificial intelligence or automated processing. When you choose to use such a feature, the text, instructions, files, or other content you submit may be processed to generate the requested result. We may use third-party AI infrastructure providers to deliver these features. Where applicable, we take steps to limit their use of submitted content to providing services to SwiftBoard. Unless clearly disclosed at the point of use, SwiftBoard will not use private User Content to train general-purpose public AI models. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them. This section applies only when AI features are available and used.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Retention periods depend on factors such as:

Even after unsubscribing from marketing, we may continue sending essential messages about:

14. Children’s Privacy

SwiftBoard is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not legally permitted to use the Services. If you believe a child has provided personal information to SwiftBoard without appropriate authorization, contact us at contact@swiftboard.app. We will take appropriate steps to investigate and delete the information where required.

15. Account and Content Deletion

You may be able to delete specific content through your SwiftBoard account. To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, use the account settings provided in the Services or contact contact@swiftboard.app. Deleting your account may permanently remove access to your Boards, Snippets, Link Pages, files, team content, and other saved information. Content you previously shared with other users may remain available in their accounts or workspaces where they independently saved, copied, or received that content. Workspace administrators may need to transfer ownership of shared content before a member account is deleted.

16. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no universally accepted standard for responding to all such signals, the Services may not respond to every Do Not Track setting. Where legally required and technically supported, we may recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control, for the browser and device from which the signal is sent.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

  • new features;
  • changes to our data practices;
  • legal or regulatory requirements;
  • security improvements; or
  • changes to our business operations.
